Could someone pls explain how the banner campaign works? i have made 13 and do not have a clue where to put them. Also, are they only in the form of a text link. or is a 468x60 banner displayed. Are these banners automaticlly displayed somewhere or do I have to manually copy and paste the code on another web site?

I'm a newbi so a step by step explanation wlould really help.

Hi Dave,

Basically all the banner campaings do is create a unquie tracking code, so for example you could have one for your google PPC campaign one for your facebooks ads. You would be able to see where your traffic is coming from. You would need to create the banner creative yourself, if required.

I was thrown by that as well. In your promotional blurb it says you have flash banners etc for promotional purposes, and even in the control panel / banner campaign manager, it has options for graphic ads, but the check box is greyed out, so obviously that system isn't working / might be working down the track.

As an affiliate who does a lot of B2B, this is a bit of a pity. I will have to pay to get a few banners done. It doesn't make much sense to me that you don't have at least one or two made for all affiliates to use.

Really sorry that system was pulled becasue it was rubbish! We will be annoucing some fairly major changes in the next month or so that will effect this, cant say anymore for now
