Does any one know how I can remove the Adultcrowd banner or other WDP banners on the members home page? The following is the HTML code:

<!--<div class="bordered" style="margin:5px 0; width:170px; height:390px; text-align:center"> <a href="http://www.adultcrowd.com"><img src="/images/en/Home/banner_adult.jpg" width="149" height="377" alt="Adultcrowd" style="margin-top:7px" border="0" /></a> </div>-->

Thank you,
Ricardy

You cannot remove these banner for what i know. But if someone click on these banner and register, you will have this member on your partner program. WDP call this a cross selling, so if the member take a paid membership, you will gain a % of the sell.

Thanks sounds nice but I am promoting a christian dating site and I don't think a banner for an adult dating site with a like to the site is appropriate and may offend some prospect or members. I have also contacted WDP support but I was hoping someone on the forum might know how to do this. So far I have a feeling WDP would have to do it for me.

Oh i agree with you, if you have a christian dating website, better to not have any adult content. Im sure WDP staff can help you in this particular case. smile.gif

Let me know your website name and I can tell you where to remove the code. smile.gif adult banners SHOULD not appear on a christian site

Hello All,

The banners can be removed through the Content Management option.

My sites-> Manage-> Content Management-> Folder: Internal Site Content

You will need to remove the codes there or replace them with what you want to have instead of them.

Hope this helps,

Laura

My site is http://www.christianadventistsingles.com/home.do and the image is http://www.christianadventistsingles.com/i...anner_adult.jpg

I followed the same instructions provided by Laura and WDP support but the content of the Folder is:

right_banner_mycrowd

<div style="margin: 5px 0pt; padding-top:7px; padding-bottom:0px; width: 170px; height: 390px; text-align: center;" class="bordered">
<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript' src='http://adv.singlescrowd.com/adx.js'></script>
<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript'>
<!--
if (!document.phpAds_used) document.phpAds_used = ',';
phpAds_random = new String (Math.random()); phpAds_random = phpAds_random.substring(2,11);

document.write ("<" + "script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript' src='");
document.write ("http://adv.singlescrowd.com/adjs.php?n=" + phpAds_random);
document.write ("&amp;clientid=29");
document.write ("&amp;exclude=" + document.phpAds_used);

<a href="http://world-dating-partners.com"><img src="/images/EN/MyCrowd/WDP-ad.gif" width="176" height="214" border="0" style="margin-top:5px "/></a>

Thank you for all the help

I did not see a banner on your site, ask Laura to remove it. Adult banners should NOT show on a Christian site.
