Can we make our own affiliate links instead of using the ones in the control panel?

Like ----> http://world-dating-partners.com/7819 or whatever?

Hi John,

The affiliate links created in the control panel look like this :

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript" src="http://singlescrowd.com/load.do?id=2559"></script>

I did some testing for you. If you keep the link without the javascript code, you get this :

http://singlescrowd.com/load.do?id=2559

If you visit this link, you get this :

document.write('<a href="http://world-dating-partners.com/index.do?refId=FFLTL-2559" target="_blank" style="font-size:14px; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Start your own dating community in Montpellier (fr), France (fr) and earn thousands monthly - MORE INFO HERE</a>');

(This is what I get, not you as you don't live in Montpellier, FRANCE tongue.gif)

Then just take the link http://world-dating-partners.com/index.do?refId=FFLTL-2559 and you get your affiliate link smile.gif

However, don't expect it to be geo-targeted, obviously it won't take the IP into account anymore, but well... you have your affiliate link, and that's the only way to get one without the script at the moment biggrin.gif

Hiya guys,

For some reason it won't allow me to create an affiliate campaign, i either get wrong macros selected or it just doesn't create one full stop.

I tried a normal campaign to my site and got a code "index.do?refId=HRNYC-3237".

Can i replace my url with "http://world-dating-partners.com/index.do?refId=HRNYC-3237" and use it that way?

Cheers,
Bob.

Edit: Ok scratch that, i've managed to create one. laugh.gif

Thanks Thomas.
Thomas
