I would like to know how can I edit the site that I started toe create your help will be much appreciated since I am a newby and dont know how to go around here

You can change the website frontpage by going to "My sites" then click on manage. Then frontpage layout. Now you can change links and the rest of the layout. Click on save to save the page.
