Good Morning All!

I have a problem, that I have identified but am unusure of how to fix...

I put together a very rough custom front page, and attached that to WDP see here www.pegging.randydevils.com

And for the search "peging dates" in google, it hits second place.. however the page that is served up is the registration page..... www.pegging.randydevils.com/registration/step1.do

I assume it has something to do with the naming of my custom page, and think it should be index.html but I cant see the relevant code to change this in the page?

so my question is... can I change the name of the page actually in the code or do i need to re save the code csing notepad and change it that way?

Reading that back I can see that it is as clear as mud lol.. but if anyone understands and can offer advice, it would be appreciated.

I will be doing a re-write as soon as I have a free min.. but for the interim I will need to go with what I have..

Hi Burtack,

It has nothing to do with the way your page is saved, it is just the fact that google has indexed this page and not the index page for these keywords, only way to get your index page there is to make sure it uses these keywords also. You can see what it has indexed here http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site%3Aww...lient=firefox-a homepage is first on the list.

Many Thanks

Daniel
