Full Version: 4 Weeks Approx' And Not A Single Cent In Revenue
World Dating Partners Forum > Support > Can anyone help?

Approximately four weeks in, at least one Google One position, out of millions of results and not a single cent in commission, affiliate income received so far, pretty disappointing to be honest.

What gives?

Anyone else getting similar non results from this World Dating platform?

What does it take to get sign ups on this program?

Any help appreciated.

Hmmmmm just went to change the layout, for another template and now all of the text has completely disappeared, which Google I'm sure will love me for (not).

Ok, this site has got to be completely redone by the looks of it, how do I go about it please?

Not finding this exactly very intuitive so far.

Are any admin here going to offer to help or not is the bottom line or don't you really care about us newbies?

If this can't be solved swiftly, I'll take my custom elsewhere.

Homepage text disappeared - thank you for the prompt response btw, that's kind of you.

After posting the above and analysing my words, the way I wrote the above two posts, I thought I might have conveyed myself a little abruptly, my apologies about that, I could have done better. Sorry.

So anyway, I'd like to do a custom designed homepage for http://Introduction-Agency.org - certainly that I think will help, the homepage content, that'll only take me a few minutes to rewrite, not so bothered about that particular aspect, although it would be good to get that text back again, however, as I said not overly bothered by that as I'm a very avid writer anyway and it would take but a few minutes to concoct up those sentences again as near as damn it, to the original.

No, what's really needed I think is an original homepage design, any tips on that front would be particularly appreciated, how to go about it etc.

I could use http://www.CraigBuilder.com I guess or something similar, yes? They'll allow you to use their WYSIWYG editor and templates if required for a fee of just $10.00 per site, using your own domain name, suitable of course for any site building.

Or, if you can come up with a better idea, a more ideal pointer to set me in the right direction, on the right path, I'm all ears.

Kindest regards.

Mark

When you make a change and it comes out bad, at the bottom of the page where you made the changes there is a date. If you go to the previous date you will get your original back....like a go back in time button wink.gif

I looked at the craigbuilder.com and it was cheap looking. It would be better to learn some HTML and fix up one of the templates supplied by WDP, not the one you are using. Check out the competition and see what works. Your lucky you have free tutorials available 24 hours, tons of free information on the Internet. We have all done this road, it is a learning curve but a valuable one. What you make here depends on how much you want to work..WDP gives you all the tools here but it does mean work to market it.

Send you a PM and hope it helps.

As patsy says, you will need to do the marketing legwork before you see any returns..

To edit your front page( this is how I do it anyway)
  • use a html editor to crate a design (webpage maker can be downloaded as a BTorretnt for free rolleyes.gif )
  • then publish your page (via your editor) to IE
  • then view rightclick>view source
  • copy this to notepad
  • then upload any image files to WDP
  • Go back to notepad and change the locations of the images to the WDP ones
  • Now go back to the WDP management area and site settings (i think) and select HTML rather than the other one(lol)
  • save then go to front page layout
  • now copy your HTML in note pad to the box replacing everything it in and save..
Then check that It does what you want..

Evening Everyone,

This is the first time I have replied, or taken part in this forum, so first of all I would like to say 'Hello' smile.gif

Having read the above thread I would just like to add that we have been involved in web development for around six years, as we have a professional marketing business, and I would never expect to receive much income after 4 weeks. It's just not realistic.

It takes a lot of time and patience to build up a serious business online.

If you are unhappy at the level of income after 4 weeks then I would have to ask you what your set objectives were for that timeframe? Whatever your targets were, were they realistic? Did you make a strategic plan to hit those targets? If so what marketing tools did you use? Did you analyse their effectiveness?, etc, etc...

Or did you just build a site and sit back and wait?

Without knowing your marketing plan it is unfair of me to point the finger at anything you are doing wrong, but you really need to look at this as a long term programme. WDP only provide you with the vehicle for success, but you have to drive it. It's no good getting lost on the road and blaming the car.

I love that!

But as this seems to be THE thread for unfounded moans, here goes.

I FOOKIN HATE FACE BOOK!!

I have spent 3 weeks and missed several TV shows building up a potential client base, I set up a related group (no strings sex yadda yadda) and decided that my benchmark would be 40,000 members before I started bombarding them with my links... I put a few up on the group info page and gained 15-30 new sign ups a day..But decided to wait before sending the "all members news flashes"

I was at ~38k and thought this w/e would be the "send them all a PM, or 10" weekend... then i log on to find the group disbanded grrrrrrrr!!

I suppose the lesson is dont aim too high. mad.gif

Over the past seven months I have had about 650 members, almost 10,000 visitors, and only six have paid. I also have a couple of sites in number one google search spots. I am not sure what else to do.

Thanks everyone for your replies, do appreciate it.

I'm well aware these things can take time and work, I've been involved with online marketing for quite a while now and know that it can take many hours before one can be considered 'successful' with any one website.

Burtack and Patsy especially, I welcome your input and your remarks.

May you all enjoy a fantastic week.

Kindest regards.
