Hello everyone

I am a newbie at online site promotion. This whole aspect of submitting to directories seems daunting. I am approaching it one directory at a time and I fear I will grow old and die before I'm a tenth of the way through the task. Am I being a bit dim here? Is there a better/easier way please.

There are auto submission tools however these can cause problems and are sometimes not worth the hastle, you could go to a directory submission company or employ a freelancer. With the latter it is important that you get them to provide reports, so you can verify the work and specify you want manual submission.

Hi Davyd,

I would recommend semi-automatic submission programs instead of automatic. Automatic submission will only work if your link is stored in the proper place, ex. "Relationships > Datingsites". With semi automatic you are more flexible. Also a lot of directories use capchas now to stop automatic submission programs.
