Full Version: "members Online Now" - Is This Section Static?
Is it only me or this section is just static and not changing? I checked other *.singlescrowd.com as well as *.adultscrowd.com and it seems like we all have the same static "members online now".

I agree, it's seems it is the photos of the same people on the latest member on the main sign in page.

The pictures are not static - they update when the new photos are approved by the moderation team.
If you site doesn't have specific filters and criteria set, the pictures will be the same as on other general adult sites on the system

I thought it was static because it was like that ever since I signed up. But it's good to know that the pictures gets updated every once in a while.

FOLLOW UP question:
Ok, so it's probably my filters.
I remember setting one up when I first signed up but when I went back to check my "Members Criteria" it seems that all my filters are gone. I just see "add filters" and there's nothing under it.
Anyway, If I would like to display pictures of girls on this Members Block section, what should I do with the filters? Should I select "Women" on the "Member Criteria" column or should I select that on the "Looking For-criteria" instead?
It's hard for me to target males to join in if all they see in the members block are guys like them so it would be great if I can get help with my filters. I tried playing around with it but it seems like the changes are not being applied. Maybe im doing it wrong.

You can't just show females - the filters are for setting up the site's niche and obviously if you set them to females only it will be a lesbian web-site.
Moderators are trying to make the front page ratio 80-20 (females-males) as this is the best working ratio for the conversion rate.

If it's 80-20 ratio, why is it that 3 out of 4 members that are displayed are guys and it's been like that for a couple days now?

I am pleased to see someone is persisting with this topic because I have been having a similar problem with a singles crowd copy website that I have ..... it is at www.singledatingpartners.com

I changed the template (color scheme) for qkgo.com and after that I noticed a few more fresh faces which is good.
www.californialove.adultcrowd.com still shows the same 4 (3 guys 1 girl) members that I posted above.

Look at the source code you have nowof this block at www.californialove.adultcrowd.com and you will understand everything.
You have just static members there for some reason. Replace this block with {%newMembersBlock%} macro in the source code, and you will see the constant stream of the new faces.
whitelighter - the same goes for your page www.singledatingpartners.com - use macro and not static links in your front page source code.

I checked the source code and there are lots of memberblocks in the code... im not sure if I'm supposed to delete any particular member block div and replace it with {%newMembersBlock%} .. im using HTML view btw.

You need to delete all the member div's, pictures, etc. and replace them with the macro.
