There has been a lot of confusion about Banner Campaigns, so I just wanted to clear them up.

There purpose is to provide you with a second level of tracking how members have joined your site, you can use them to generate tracking codes for adwords, facebook advertising, even promoters.

Here are the instructions:-

? Go to Banner Campaign
? Add Campaign
? Set name as relevant name i.e. google adwords keyword dating
? Select Portal as relevant portal i.e. dating, adult etc
? Campaign type as text link
? Your ad appearance as banner ad
? Landing page opens as open in same window
? Click Next
? Drop down website and select your site.
? Leave everything else the same
? Click Next
? Select input your own text and just type text
? Click Next
? Click on ! under code

? You will see text like this:-

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript" src="http://host.to.promote/load.do?id=11193"></script>
<!--or use this direct link instead http://host.to.promote/index.do?refId=RPS-11193
replace host.to.promote with your own host-->

? All you need is:-

http://host.to.promote/index.do?refId=RPS-11193

? insert your site name where it says host.to.promote i.e.:-

http://examplesite.com/index.do?refId=RPS-11193

Hope this clears up a few questions

Thanks

I need to know more about this please ..

I want to track PPC Campaigns at the Keyword level without creating a new banner campaign for each keyword.

For this to work, I need to insert a variable into the URL so that my script can insert a unique number for each Keyword.

My question is:

Can I replace refId=RPS-11193 with refId=%VARIABLE%-11193 or should the link be crafted another way?

Many thanks

I'm afraid this is not possible, you have to set it up in our system (because it has to be tracked to you, not one of our other partners).

Can we put adsense? is there an instruction for this?
Patsy (4601)
The problem is with adsense is that you are directing traffic away from your site where you want to make money. AND if you do not get enough traffic to your site you will not make money with adsense anyways. With adsense they would put competing companies on your site which would be a disaster..Just my 2 cents
