Hi everyone,

We are pleased to introduce you to a new tool that will help you change the headers. The instruction will be particularly useful for those of you who have just recently joined us. And for those who found the instruction in our February newsletter it will be a handy reminder on how to use it. So here we go!

Changing headers on the inside pages

With the new tool it is possible to make your site look unique and special since now you are able to replace the standard headers with those of your own!
We are going to give you a step-by-step instruction on how to implement a new header on your site:

1. You need to create your own picture that you want to see for the header with the width of 764px and length of 105px
2. Upload the picture to your site through the Files Management option and save the link ( http://test222.singlescrowd.com/additional...er_dating2.jpg) that our system gives you.
3. Go to the Content Management option and select the folder 'Internal Site Content'.
4. Select the file '/static/internal_site_content/head_bar.do' and click the pencil (editing). Click the 'Save' button to save the existing variant in the case you need to come back to it.
5. Insert the link to your picture into the coding and save the changes you have just made.
Do not worry if you make a mistake and something goes wrong. You can restore the previous version and start again.
Here is the code you may use:

<!-- Custom Head Bar Begin -->
<div id="headerBg" style="background:url***') !important;">
{%headerMacro::external%}
{%mainMenuMacro::icons%}
<div id="langs">
<div id="langBar">
{%switchLocaleMacro%}
</div></div></div>
<!-- Custom Head Bar End-->

*** is http://test222.singlescrowd.com/additional...der_dating2.jpg - the link from your Files Management after the picture was uploaded

We will be very happy to hear from you on how helpful this tool is going to be. Moreover, please give us your feedback if you have already successfully used it or if you had some issues with the new feature that we can help you resolve. Your opinion is extremely important to us. So please feel free to post your comments. They will be highly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Olga

Hi all,

We have great news for you! With the beautiful spring knocking at our doors we have created a few headers for you sites with the supplementary features of spring touch. Now you can add a header with flowers to you site to welcome people. It is worth to mention that the upcoming weekend is the Easter holiday. However, you should be careful about the Easter headers (picturing Easter eggs). Since it is a religious holiday it does not apply to everyone. In case you are unsure whether it is appropriate to use the Easter symbolic on your site just use the headers with flowers. You can never be wrong with flowers in any part of the world.

Hi Olga,

I just wanted to say a big thank you for these instructions.

I have just successfully added my own header to all my internal pages. I had to tweak the image a bit, but it has had the desired effect.

Many thanks.

Graham
